Also called caps, crowns fit over teeth to hide misshaping, misalignment, cracks, discoloration, or other imperfections. Crowns alleviate pain in teeth and offer extra support to those teeth that are weak or injured. They can greatly enhance the appearance of your smile and make your teeth much more durable.

CEREC 3D is cutting edge technology that allows us to offer our patients completed inlays and onlays in just one appointment.

The CEREC 3D is a CAD/CAM system that allows us to design and manufacture custom tooth-colored restorations from ceramic. This eliminates traditional impressions, temporary fillings, and the second appointment.

The CEREC ceramic contains no metal and is the closest restoration to actual enamel. This brings your CEREC-restored teeth back to their original strength and appearance.

The CEREC system has been in use for years, mostly in Europe. Siemens introduced CEREC to North America in 1997. Clinical studies have shown that CEREC restorations are lasting at least as long gold, yet look like natural teeth.

Your teeth are white-not silver. Your fillings should look like your teeth, not auto parts. Please ask us for a demonstration on your next visit!

Bridges are an excellent way to fill missing-tooth gaps with natural-looking artificial teeth. They can also correct speaking and chewing problems and decrease strains felt when biting. Bridges can only be removed by a dentist (so they are semi-permanent), but they are comfortable, discreet, and known to strengthen existing teeth.

Dental Implants

Dental implants attach artificial teeth below the gum line. An anchor secures the implant in place and allows the bone and gums to grow around it. Because dental implants require surgery, they work well only for candidates with sufficient bone and healthy gums. For more information about dental implants, please contact us today.

Kinetic Cavity Preparation (KCP)

Our patients love it! Nicknamed the sandblaster, this device scours away decay using a fine jet of harmless, bio-compatible particles. The KCP system is so gentle that the vast majority of patients don’t even require anaesthetic. This allows us to work on different areas of the mouth during the same visit, saving you the time and inconvenience of another trip to the office.

Intraoral Camera

The intraoral camera is a revolutionary diagnostic dental tool about the size of a dental mirror. It has a built-in light source and serves as a tiny video camera that allows us to zoom in on one tooth with 25 times the magnification. It also allows us to give you a video tour of your entire mouth. The images are displayed on a monitor so you will be able to see problem areas such as worn or broken fillings, cracked teeth, plaque deposits, cavities next to fillings, and excessive wear. The intraoral camera allows you to be an active partner in your dental treatment and helps in making procedures more understandable.

Our office is equipped with the Waterlase™- a breakthrough in laser dentistry. Laser energized water, Hydrokinetics™, replaces the drill in many instances. Waterlase™ does away with whine of the drill. Since there is no heat or vibration, the Waterlase™ reduces the need for needles and anesthesia.
The Hydrokinetic™ process gently washes away decay with YSGG laser-energized water droplets. Hydrokinetic™ energy is produced by combining a spray of atomized water with laser energy. The resulting Waterlase™ energy gently and precisely removes a wide range of human tissue including tooth enamel (the hardest substance in the body), and soft tissue (gum tissue) with no heat or discomfort in most cases.

What are the benefits of Waterlase™?
No Drills, No Needles, No Numbness-in most cases

  • Heat and vibration are the causes of most of the discomfort associated with the drill. Since Hydrokinetic™ cutting does not transmit heat or vibration, many dental procedures can be performed without anesthesia, in most cases.
  • The laser’s pinpoint accuracy is precise enough that your dentist can leave in place as much healthy tooth structure as possible, allowing you to keep your own teeth longer.
  • Gently performs numerous soft tissue procedures with little or no bleeding. The laser gives your dentist a new high-tech tool for many procedures that previously required referral to a specialist. Now you can them performed during your scheduled appointment and feel better afterwards!
  • The Waterlase™ prepares your teeth in a way that maximizes the bonding of tooth-colored fillings, allowing them to last longer.
